It’s getting to that point of the year where Honor is getting ready to show off their new flagship device, and just like with the Huawei P series, Honor has skipped 11-19 and jumped straight to Honor 20.
We don’t know all that much about the Honor 20, scratch that, we know absolutely nothing. but given the fact the “Save the Date” says the Honor 20 Series, we can assume there will be a standard variant and a Pro, just like the P30 and P30 Pro. And we can assume that the Honor 20 will be relatively close to the P30 series just as the Honor 10 was to the P20.
We’re likely looking at a triple camera set up on the rear with a single high-resolution front camera with a waterdrop style notch. The Kirin 980 will almost certainly present as will a large battery. We do not know for sure what the Charger will be, but I feel like Huawei would keep 40w SuperCharging to themselves, so I’m expecting standard 22.5w SuperCharging here. Most likely an IPS screen with the fingerprint scanner on the rear or below the screen as it was on the Honor 10.
All of this is speculation though, the only things we know for sure is that there will be an event on May 21st In London for the Honor 20 series, the Hashtag of #CaptureWonder will get used a lot, and it appears that night-time photography will play a large part of the image, so I’m expecting the SuperSpectrum sensor from the P30 to be carried over.
We’ll be there keeping you up to date on the newest Honor devices.
